LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Veteran promotion chief Steve Zap has launched Z-entertainment Records, Zap’s own record label through Z-entertainment, the music company he created in 2004.

The label’s debut release is Symphony Soldier, the second album from Las Vegas-based band, The Cab.

Symphony Soldier came out on August 23, 2011, that week’s eighth best-selling debut album, and has sold 12,000 copies to date.

Alternative Press gave Symphony Soldier a thunderous four-star review, Rollingstone.com remarked that “The Cab’s high energy pop is radio ready.”

Steve Zap began his career in the music industry in 1986 as one of the first employees at Virgin Records America. After 3 years at Virgin, he moved to Warner Bros to become VP of Promotion, where he spent 12 years.

Zap moved to MCA Records for three years as their VP of Promotion and has spent the last eight years as head of Z-entertainment, his own promotion and marketing company, which focuses on Front Line Management clients.
