Not-so-friendly dolphin. Miko Grimes, the wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes, was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 27, after head-butting a police officer at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.
According to the arrest report (via the Sun Sentinel), the incident started when Grimes tried to walk into a restricted area of the stadium while her husband’s team played — and subsequently lost — against the Buffalo Bills. Though officers warned Grimes to stop, the local talk show host reportedly ignored them and continued walking toward her destination.
It was then that an officer grabbed her arm, and Grimes, 40, cursed him and other officers out. Police attempted to subdue the Pro Bowler’s wife, putting her in a bear hug and wrangling her onto the floor, where she continued to kick her legs and flail her limbs.
According to the report, the startling fracas ended with Grimes throwing her head back and head-butting one unlucky officer. She was then warned with a Taser, and was subsequently booked in a Miami jail.
